
Three tips for great food to cook and eat outdoors:
- Calzone // can be prepared at home, placed into individual freezer bags, and cooked in a little oil or butter on a frying pan on the campfire, flipping them over frequently until dough is cooked and cheese is melted.
- Pancakes // again, cooked in a little oil or butter on a frying pan on the campfire. Prepare the batter at home, and bring it in a bottle.
- Quick blueberry "jam" // bring a tablespoon or two of sugar in a freezer bag, pick berries straight into the bag as you go along. Knot the bag and squeeze until berries are mushed, then snip off a corner of the bag to pour jam out of. Yum!
We very much enjoyed a full afternoon outdoors, just the two of us ♥
