What's that, you say? You want the recipe? Oh, ok then:
CHOCOLATE COOKIES WITH MINI SMARTIES
50 g butter (at room temperature)
175 ml sugar
3 tbsp water
250 ml plain flour
75 ml cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda (or natron to you norwegian readers)
¼ tsp salt
3 small boxes of mini Smarties (or use chocolate chips, nuts, whatever)
[A handy metric to imperial recipe converter can be found here]
Place the butter, sugar and water in a bowl. Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Mix all the dry ingredients and the smarties in a bowl and then add to the sugar/butter mixture. Combine by hand (yup, very messy) until a sticky dough has formed. Shape into 24 little balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake at 200℃ (middle shelf) for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
Enjoy!

Looks absolutely delicious! I love a good cookie and this recipe sounds amazing. I would so love to try some.
ReplyDeleteYum yum yum! We have cookies in the oven right now. We're going on the edge and making candied bacon chocolate chip. We'll see how they turn out! I'm not quite convinced, but my husband thinks they'll be GREAT!
ReplyDeleteI'm with your hubby on this one. Bacon makes anything great :P
